Kauai Vow Renewal Ceremony
A free vow renewal ceremony is offered exclusively for Outrigger Kiahuna Plantation guests. The non-denominational, island-inspired ceremony is held in a beautiful garden setting at the resort, conducted by a Hawaiian officiant. The ceremony begins with couples exchanging fresh flower lei, followed by the traditional blowing of a conch shell. A Hawaiian chant is recited, and English translation provided so that guests may fully appreciate its special significance. Couples learn the meaning of ha, the breath of life, as they exchange vows and a special kiss. Hawaiian slack-key guitar performers close the ceremony with a serenade. Following the ceremony, each couple is presented with a certificate to commemorate their vow renewal.
Please note that space is limited to 6 couples and participation is subject to availability.
